From 1st April to October 31st, Cockburn’s Port is open from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The tasting sessions at the winery are open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
From 1st November to 31st March, Cockburn’s Port stays open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Wine-tasting sessions also take place between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Cockburn’s Port is closed on 25th December, 1st January, and for two days in February for staff training.
Best time to visit: The best time to visit Cockburn’s Port is from late August to early October. This time is usually the harvest season in Douro Valley, and visiting the attraction during this time will let you see the winemaking process in action since the vineyards will be buzzing with activity.
